Client Case Study
In December of 2022 a new client came to me. They were in a 'pickle'. They needed to land
a new job in January as their position was being terminated for the New Year.
So we got to work!
The client required:
- A resume & LinkedIn profile overhaul.
- A clear job search & networking strategy to land multiple interviews.
- Ongoing career coaching to navigate new career choices.
In the middle of December we had 5 interviews lined up at Honeywell, Deloitte, and Blizzard. Uh oh! Roadblock. He was declined during the second round of each interview for Senior Product Management positions.
So we pivoted.
We created a new resume and applied to Operations & Strategy positions. These positions are far less competitive as they aren't glorified like the almighty 'PM Title'.
By the middle of January my client had 20 interviews lined up at companies like Blue Origin, SpaceX, Goldman Sachs, Walmart, Credit Karma, Accenture, and more. He accepted an offer with a 40K+ increase in salary.
